KAT Konnection is a grassroots philanthropic initiative that provides direct support to underserved and housing insecure communities through compassionate, needs based programs. Our work seeks to addresses critical gaps in nutrition, hygiene, menstrual care, and educational access. Through initiatives like KAT Kares, Purrfect Flow, and KAT Academy, we attempt to reduce immediate survival burdens, restore dignity, and create pathways to greater stability. The Beta Colony was founded by Dereon, Co-Founder of Kappa Alpha Tau Inc., whose vision and leadership expanded Kappa Alpha Tau’s legacy of Sisterhood, Service, SophistiKATion, and Integrity. Built on unity and purpose, the Beta Chapter represents growth, strength, and the continued evolution of the Fierce Felines. Through determination and collaboration, Founder Dereon laid the foundation for lasting impact, empowering women to lead, serve, and inspire with grace and confidence.
